Towne contributed seven lots to Christie’s to be auctioned on 25 March 1808 “for the charity benefit of an artist”, possibly Robert Freebairn. Lot 90, Bridgnorth, was given a reserve of £1 18s. 6d. It was perhaps a version of FT066.
