Towne contributed seven lots to Christie’s to be auctioned on 25 March 1808 “for the charity benefit of an artist”, possibly Robert Freebairn. Lots 85 and 86 were both called Glastonbury, each with a reserve of £3 3s. These were perhaps versions of FT117 or FT118.
