Commissioned by 2nd Viscount Courtenay and sold by his son, 3rd Viscount Courtenay, at Christie’s on 15 February 1817 was a group of “Capital Loose Drawings by Towne”. Lot 6, Ditto [i.e. View] from the N. E. window of ditto, went for 14s. to Thompson.
