Untraced until 10 May 1940 when it was bought by Agnew’s (no.3080) for £4 from G. B. Mountford. On 24 June 1940 it was bought from Agnew’s for £10 by Professor John Malins (1915–1992).

Comment

This is a view of Rocca di Papa from the same approach as FT281 and FT282. The building appears not to be the one shown in FT282 but was a former pagan temple, subsequently dedicated to St Peter, around which the convent grew.
