Of the eleven watercolours purchased by the Snows, certainly four (numbered 3, 4, 7, and 9: FT426FT428FT431FT432) and at most six (numbered 2 and 6: FT425FT430) survive. Therefore Thomas Snow owned at least five watercolour views of Rome (FT427aFT427bFT427cFT427d, FT427e) that have not been recorded since the 1880s and were numbered 1, 5, 8, 10, and 11.
